Terms of service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
1. About Us and Scope of These Terms
This website and webshop (together, the "Services") are operated by Sarah Rose ("Sarah Rose", "we", "us", "our"), a trading name of Sarah Rose VA, registered under company registration number 76089347, with its business address at Boereglop 3, 8899CA, Oost-Vlieland, The Netherlands.
By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and to the documents they refer to, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., whose e-commerce platform allows us to offer our products and Services to you.
2. Use of Our Services
To use the Services you must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with all applicable laws and regulations.
You may not upload or transmit viruses, malware or any other harmful code.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend accounts or cancel orders at our own discretion if we believe these Terms or applicable laws are being breached.
3. Changes to the Website and These Terms
Content, features and prices on our website may be updated at any time without prior notice. We may also amend these Terms from time to time by publishing a revised version on this page. The Terms that apply to your order are the ones published at the time you place it.
4. Products, Prices and Availability
Product descriptions, images, colours, prices and stock levels can change at any moment. We do our best to present every product as accurately as possible, but we cannot ensure that the colours shown on your screen exactly match the physical product.
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. The amount displayed at checkout is the total amount you pay; delivery within the United Kingdom is free.
We may restrict the sale of products to certain persons, regions or jurisdictions, and may limit the quantities available per order, account or address.
5. Orders and Acceptance
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. The contract between us is formed when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. We may accept, decline or cancel an order, for example in cases of suspected fraud, stock problems or pricing errors. If we need to change or cancel your order, we will contact you using the details you provided at checkout and refund any amount already paid.
6. Billing and Account Details
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete purchase and account information, and to keep details such as your email address, delivery address and payment information up to date. We may refuse or cancel orders placed with incorrect or unverifiable details.
7. Shipping, Delivery and Returns
Everything related to shipping, delivery times and returns is set out in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which you can find in the footer of our website. Please read both carefully before you order.
Delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided.
8. Your Consumer Rights
As a consumer in the United Kingdom you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect:
- Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
- Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days of delivery, and may be entitled to a repair, replacement or price reduction thereafter.
Our own 30-day return window, described in the Refund Policy, is offered in addition to these rights.
9. Third-Party Tools and Services
Our website may give you access to tools or services provided by third parties, such as payment providers, analytics tools or tracking widgets. These are offered "as is" and "as available". Using third-party tools, or visiting third-party websites linked from our store, is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those third parties. We are not responsible for their content, security or practices.
10. Reviews, Feedback and Other Submissions
If you send us reviews, comments, ideas or other materials ("Submissions"), you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, translate and distribute those Submissions in order to operate and improve the Services. We may monitor, edit or remove content that we consider unlawful, offensive, infringing or otherwise objectionable.
You confirm that your Submissions do not infringe the rights of others (including intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights), are not unlawful or defamatory, and contain no harmful code.
11. Personal Data
Any personal information you share with us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, linked in the footer. It explains what we collect, how we use it and which rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and the Sarah Rose name, is owned by us or used under licence and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our prior written permission.
13. Errors and Omissions
Occasionally, information on our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions, for example in product descriptions, prices or availability. To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to correct such errors and to update or cancel affected orders at any time. Where an order is cancelled for this reason, you receive a full refund.
14. Prohibited Use
In addition to the other restrictions in these Terms, you may not use the Services or any content on our website:
- for any unlawful purpose;
- to breach any regulations, laws or local ordinances;
- to infringe intellectual property rights;
- to harass, defame, discriminate against or harm others;
- to provide false or misleading information;
- to upload or spread malicious code;
- to scrape, crawl or collect personal data of others without consent;
- to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Services.
We may end or restrict your access if you violate these rules.
15. Availability of the Website
We aim to keep the Services available at all times, but we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors. We may suspend access for maintenance or technical reasons.
16. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made, or for any loss of profit, revenue, savings or data arising from business use of the Services. Our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
17. Events Outside Our Control
We are not liable for delays or failures in performing our obligations that are caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as strike action, carrier disruption, extreme weather or failures of public networks. If such an event occurs, we will contact you and either extend the delivery time or, where the delay is substantial, cancel the order and refund you in full.
18. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that part will still be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remainder of these Terms will continue to apply in full.
19. Termination
These Terms apply until they are ended by you or by us. You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, without affecting any amounts owed up to the date of termination. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.
20. Entire Agreement and No Waiver
These Terms, together with the policies published on our website, form the complete agreement between you and us regarding the Services and replace all earlier agreements and communications. If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to do so later.
21. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, email info@sarah-rose.com with your order number. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme or take the matter to court.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection rules give you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
